01Delete your account yourself
You can delete your ApilageAI account at any time, in the Android app or in any web browser at apilageai.lk. Both use the same account and the same steps.
1. Sign in, open Settings and choose Account & security.
2. Scroll to Delete my profile completely and select Delete my profile.
3. Confirm it is you: enter your current password, or the four-digit code sent by the ApilageAI Telegram bot if you sign in with Telegram. Google accounts continue with the signed-in session.
4. Type DELETE and choose Permanently delete my account. Deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone.
02If you cannot sign in
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my ApilageAI account” and your username. If you only use Telegram to sign in, include your Telegram username instead.
We will confirm that the request comes from the account owner before deleting anything, then delete the account as described below and reply to let you know it is done.
03What is deleted
Your account and profile: name, username, email address, password, bio, age, academic status, avatar and onboarding answers.
Your sign-in links (Google and Telegram), active sessions, notification settings and WhatsApp or Telegram notification links.
Everything you posted: questions, replies, polls, uploaded images and PDFs, question-chat messages and reposts. Replies other students posted on your questions are deleted with the question.
Your private AI chat conversations, AI memory and preferences, votes, saved posts, followed subjects, block list and the reports you sent.
Uploaded files are removed from storage shortly after the account is deleted.
04What is kept, and for how long
Payment records we must keep for accounting (amount, date and payment reference) are kept without a link to your account.
A record that an account with your internal ID number was deleted is kept in our admin audit log so we can show deletion requests were honored. It does not contain your name, email or content.
If our safety system or moderators removed one of your posts for breaking the Terms, a copy may be kept for moderation review without a link to your account.
Copies of data in routine database backups are removed when those backups expire. Content that other people saved or shared outside ApilageAI cannot be recalled.
05Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can delete individual questions and replies from their ⋯ menu, delete AI chat conversations from the chat sidebar, clear AI memory in Settings under Preferences, and unlink Google or Telegram in Settings under Account & security.
